The yellow stroking paste for strops is a very rich leather grease. In the case of belts, the pure leather side without abrasives is used to remove the razor.

The leather grease keeps the leather supple and gives it a better grip. Without this care the leather dries out over time and becomes brittle. Use sparingly!

The GREEN Stroke Belt Paste for Honing Belts is a HIGH EFFICIENCY Paste that should be used when the razor feels dull. The paste is applied to the strops and the razor is sharpened as usual.

A very thin layer on the belt is already sufficient, please use sparingly. Rigid belts are recommended - screw tension belts or belts with a wooden core.
