The large grinding stones in the traditional figurines in Solingen were driven by the force of the river Wupper. Fittingly, the new series will be baptized in the name of hydroelectric power, but it combines the tradition of manual grinding of the blade on the stone with the power of modernity through the use of innovative materials.

The newbenchstone "‹"‹is made of modern ceramic and burned in a combustion process particularly gentle about 14 days in the oven. This innovative and cost-intensive firing process gives the stones a particularly high strength.
